KNEELING ASSISTED HIP FLEXOR STRETCH

Kneeling assisted hip flexor stretch is an effective stretch to open up the hip flexors.

  • -Begin in a keeling position, with your back to a step ladder or bench
  • -Place one foot on the step ladder.
  • -Drive your hip forward and open and lift your chest, placing your hands on your thigh for support.
  • -Stay for a few breaths.
  • -Then, deepen the stretch by raising your arms and leaning the torso side to side.
  • -Switch sides after at least 5 breaths
