WHY I USE A THERACANE
I have been using a theracane for several years to relieve tension in my neck and shoulders. A theracance, is a hook-like tool, ideal for applying pressure to hard-to-reach spots.

WHEN
Our upper body gets tense from emotional stress and activities of daily life. Various factors can limit the range of motion of our shoulders.
I use the theracane:
- -After sitting at the computer
- -Also After long periods of driving
- -And After upper body strength workouts
- -During stressful periods
I love that the theracane is lightweight and easy to bring with me. I reach for it when I am at home, and sometimes keep it in the car when I travel, to use between clients.
WHERE
Focusing on the area around the shoulder joint has always offered me pleasant results.
-front of the chest (pec minor)
-top of the shoulder (upper trapezius)
-middle of the back (middle trapezious)
After I spend some time on those areas, I notice more range of motion in my neck and shoulders.
Here are my top 3 go-to areas to focus my theracane on when my shoulders feel tight:
1. Pectoralis Minor

2. Upper Trapezius

3. Middle Trapezius

The theracane comes with a booklet but I also recommend a book called The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook.
